Kicking and screaming all the way into midlife...

Hello all! I named this the name I did because I'm 43, feel like I'm 28 and refuse to believe it. I struggle with looking a bit frumpy despite having had 6 kids in the last 13 years. What am I to expect?? hahaha. The doctor tries not to laugh when I call about this or that vague ailment. She has to calmly remind me it's all a natural part of 'being older'. So..as I crank on the a/c in October to cool my HOT body (hehehee hubby says it's why he married me..) at night, I guess I need to grin and bear it!

I'm the mom to 6 children ages from 12 years to 13 months, no wonder I'm tired!! hahaa My youngest little honey was blessed with an extra 21'st chromosome. He is my treasure, my moon and my sun. I love him so much. I love all my children and all children, for that matter, but my baby has taught me so much about diversity and understanding. My eyes have been opened to a whole new world and I've met so many wonderful people because of it. This morning when he woke up I picked him up, hugged him and just grinned ear to ear and exclaimed I'm so luckyyyy to be your Mummy! I just feel so so very lucky to be able to have children and be their Mom. I hope, after all the dust settles, that they feel lucky I was theirs.
